Betfair Trading

Betfair is a revolution in betting terms. The basic principle is that you bet against other individuals on the net, not the bookies. This means that the odds are set by the punters and not the bookmakers, in return Betfair takes a commission on every winning bet (the more you bet the less you pay).
The other revolutionary concept that Betfair has introduced is the possibility to "lay", or bet against. This means you can bet for a team or against it if you wish. In a ten horse field laying may seem the attractive option but losing a lay bet has increased penalties so beware! It also introduces the possibility to lay before an event starts (can be tennis, football, baseball, basketball etc) and then back the same team as the game goes away from them making a sure profit. The risk is that the team scores first, so again beware!
Tennis and football are the two sports i trade most on Betfair. I would advise all newcomers to keep clear of tennis until they have gained experience with football trading where there is more time to think things through before reacting. Tennis is so volatile, with odds swinging with every point that the slow trader will be scalped by the seasoned few!
Football Trading System
I have tried many football systems over the years but this is the only one i feel a can recommend. As outlined above the system is based on Betfair by laying the result before the game and then backing the same result as goals are scored. Statisically this system will show a profit in 86% of games, in the other 14% the losses are minimised by trading out. The system is well explained and will make you money AS LONG AS YOU SHOW DISCIPLINE! As with all things you have to follow the rules to make a profit- do not decide that you know best (if you do then you will lose money). Ian runs the system and sends all his selections out per e-mail together with his thoughts on the games. There is a one time payment for the system and a lifetime of picks and queries. I personally trade using this system a couple of times a week, so i can maximise my profits by only trading on the best games.
