Adwords

This is your way to advertise on Google, the worlds largest search engine. Adwords are the adverts on the right hand side of the page after searching on Google.  Each adword or advert is made up of a title, a small piece of text and a link- the ads on the bottom of this page are adwords.
Millions of buyers visit Google every day, if you can tap into the traffic then there's money to be made- lots of money! The link will have a code embedded in it which will credit the adword author IF you buy anything after clicking the link. The author has to pay Google EVERY time someone clicks on his link whether they buy something or not.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that the sale per click ratio has to be as high as possible to make money. The price per click to Google varies depending on the competition in that particular market, therefore it pays to find a nische market- less competition equals lower price per click.

To join adwords or get a fuller explanation just search on "adwords" and go to the homepage.

The other side of the adwords coin is of course the selling part, check out the affiliate link for more info on that.

BEWARE, adwords has to be treated with respect, members can set daily limits and maximum price per click for keywords (or words that people use to search Google with). It is VERY easy to get carried out with the advertising and end up spending far too much on each click- i cannot emphasis this enough!! There is a science to using tools available to bring down your cost per click with Google. The more relevant your search words (or keywords) are to the product you're trying to sell then the lower your click price will be. In turn the more successfull your campaign is the faster the click price will decrease! HOWEVER the opposite is also true, if you use a shotgun approach to your search criteria then the odds are that theclick price will go through the roof. I recommend that beginners who want to use Adwords should take the time to get themselves a copy of "beat adwords"- link below, and read the guidelines on the adwords start site for free (just search for "adwords" below and it'll come up). Adwords give a lot of information in their guidelines if you take the time and effort to read it, after reading it the "beat adwords" site will help you use it best. Over 90% of adwords members lose money because they jump in with both feet with the learn as you go approach- commendable but also losing money while they learn from their mistakes!
